My path into photography began with a stroke of luck: finding a camera on the side of the road as a teenager. From that moment on, I was never without one. It became a permanent extension of how I moved through the world, a tool for recording what others overlooked.
While I spent years working professionally in traditional photography, my real focus has always lived on the periphery. For two decades, I have navigated the places most people avoid—the humid silence of tunnels beneath the streets, the skeletal remains of rust-belt factories, and the dust of desert ghost towns. My work is built on the risk of the "off-limits" and the beauty found in the breach.
Over time, my focus has shifted from the act of documenting my adventures to the act of seeing. While I still venture where others won't, I have increasingly moved toward capturing my surroundings through a more abstract lens. I am drawn to the textures, geometries, and forgotten details that exist in plain sight but remain invisible to the casual observer.
